Bleeding Hearts have a charm that’s hard to resist. They are old-fashioned and dependable with arching racemes of dangling, heart shaped rosy-pink flowers. Grow Bleeding Hearts in light to full shade in a site with rich, moist, well-drained soil. Morning sun and afternoon shade encourages longer booming period.
These plants are not heavy feeders but they do enjoy an annual topdressing of compost.
