Knautia is an underappreciated little perennial that gives its all to the garden for most of the summer. These sun-loving plants run 2-3 feet in height and are nearly as wide. Their slender stems weave through their neighbors, ornamenting the scene with small but long-lasting scabiosa like flowers. As a bonus, they’re very drought tolerant.. Reports from gardeners in the colder regions of Canada report that this is one of their toughest perennials. Easy to grow.
