Niobe is a very popular clematis featuring large velvety ruby-red Flowers 6”across with contrasting yellow stamina. Vigorous climber perfect for fences, arbours or walls. Long blooming and easy care, and holds colour well all season. Clematis like to have their heads in the sun and their feet in the shade. Keep roots shaded with other perennials or add stone mulch or wood chips at the base. Prune early in the spring before new growth begins.
