One of the best double red peonies Karl Rosenfield is very eye catching. Large rose shaped vibrant cherry red double blooms up to 6” across. Fragrant and an excellent cut flower. Glossy dark green foliage stays attractive all summer, often turning ruby red in the fall. Prefers rich, well-drained soil. Remove spent flowers as they fade, then cut back plant in the fall. Combines beautifully with iris, roses, Lady’s Mantle and nepeta.
