One of the easiest plants to grow, Japanese Painted ferns are known for their colourful, arching,silvery leaves. These variegated ferns tolerate acidic soil and deep shade. This deciduous plant will normally die back in winter and return with robust fullness in the spring. appreciates regular watering but be careful not to water-log. Does well with a good compost or manure dressing. Trim any dead fronds. Can also be grown in large containers. Pest free.
