A particularly tall aster bearing masses of small lilac blue flowers with yellow centres. Provides lots of late season nectar for the pollinators. Adapts well to most soils and can take some shade. Beautiful combined with ornamental grasses, goldenrod, liatris and echinacea. Attracts a very large # of bee species.
