Ratibida is an upright clump forming perennial full of golden yellow and rust red daisy flowers with drooping petals surrounding a long prominent central disk. Blooms beautifully from early summer until fall. Foliage is ferny, feathery bright green. Not fussy about soil. Tolerates drought conditions once established. Self seeds. Lovely massed in a prairie garden, meadows, sunny borders. Combines well with echinacea, kniphofia, liatris, asters ornamental grasses
