A Luminous early summer perennial. Trollius love rich consistently moist soil. Very versatile, can be grown in moist perennial beds, bogs alongside ponds and streams or the edge of a woodland.
The flowers will be in colours of cream, soft yellow, butter yellow, and orange. The blooms look like papery double buttercups with attractive deeply divided deep green leaves. A low maintenance, perennial free of pests and diseases. Cut back after flowering. Clumps may be divided in the fall.
