A very rare Ironweed, a cousin of the traditional large wildflower. Lettermanii is a full, bushy plant with narrow feathery leaves that produce masses of rosy purple flowers in late summer-fall. Combines beautifully with ornamental grasses, and other autumn perennials such as rudbeckia, aster and sedum. Easy to grow in sun-part shade. Loved by migrating butterflies and Bees.
