Podophyllums are grown for their foliage and form. A patch of Mayapple in the garden looks like a parade of open parasols. Flowers can be Pink, white or red, but are tucked under the foliage and not very showy. Blooms are followed by 1-2" fruit resembling small apples or eggs. Mayapple belongs in the woodland garden.
