Katsura is one of the most elegant trees available. New spring leaves emerge with a red-purple cast and gradually take on a green-blue colour through the summer. In the autumn leaves take on a fragrance of strawberry and apricot as they turn bright yellow.roots are not aggressive
and can be gardened under. Grows best in rich well drained soil. Water during dry spells. Grows best with protection from hot afternoon sun.
