Rodgersia creates tropical drama with it's huge leathery serrated leaves. The leaves are purple-bronze tinged and pair beautifully with fine textured plants. They thrive in a moist part shade environment. Can be divided in early spring. Sprays of pink flowers arrive early summer. Trim off dead leaves and stems in spring. Remove flower spikes when finished. Native of China.
