Fallopia Japonica is a tall bushy perennial with stunning green leaves splashed with white. Pinkish coral new growth on pink stems. This variety remains controlled and does not spread wildly. I have found starting in the second year, this plant sends out 4 or 5 suckers which can be pruned out or lifted to make new plants. Eye catching variegation pairs well with hosta. Cut back to the ground in the fall.
