Huge 3 inch double White flowers with a black eye appear in summer and are excellent
for cutting. If the first flower spike is removed immediately after
blooming additional flower spikes will be produced from the base. Grows
4-7 feet tall with large palmate leaves and needs staking to protect
the heavy flower spikes from windy weather. A dramatic choice for
background plantings. Needs fertile, moist soil. Perennial. Winter hardy
to zone 3.
