This is one of the toughest and best performers of all the foxgloves. It features large 2 inch, butter-yellow bells in early summer and grows 2-3 feet tall. Thrives in sun, part shade (in hot summer areas) or dappled shade and although it prefers moist soil it will tolerate some drought if planted in a shady border. Looks terrific combined with oriental poppies.
