Fully double, 4-6" frilled flowers of ' Marconi' appear on strong, slender stems and will rebloom if cut back to the basal foliage after their first bloom.These sun-loving flowers have been garden favourites for centuries. They bloom in summer and fall. Shallow-rooted, they need moist soil and regular fertilizing. Pinch tips until mid-summer or when flowering begins. Divide plants in spring, discarding the "woody" parts. Cut back regularly to promote bloom. Created by the famous plant breeder Luther Burbank.
