This ornamental grass is an ideal border plant, an accent, in the rock garden, or along an edge.
The foliage is compact and densely blue-green and almost seems to disappear when the flowering stems rise up. These are strictly upright becoming shimmering spikes of silver lasting over many weeks. Prefers a dry sunny, well-drained site.Will not do well if grown in very rich soil.
