Vigorous, low growing evergreen perennials with leathery, glossy, dark green foliage to 6 inches tall. From April to May graceful, nodding clusters of attractive small flowers are produced on strong 12-18 inch stalks. Use as a tough, easy to grow ground cover or for edging borders or paths. Looks especially good with ferns, hellebores or hostas. Needs part shade in warm summer areas. Winter hardy to zone 3.
