Physostegia-Obedient Plant Perennial Native Height: 3” Light: Sun-Light Shade Flowering: Late Summer Zone: 2
Attractive pink flowers appear on this upright plant over a period of weeks in late summer and fall. If a flower is pushed aside to a new position, it will remain there. This behavior is decidedly unlike that of most plants, and accounts for the name "obedient plant". Spreads actively by rhizomes. Tolerant of wet soil. Has also been reported to have good drought tolerance. Long flowering and makes a great cut flower. $5 per pot
